Cadets enjoy attending squadron parades but the day-to-day squadron programme leads to a BTEC in Aviation Studies, our flying programme can lead to a solo flying or gliding qualifications and our adventure training activities teach the skills needed by future mountain leaders. Cadets also work for Duke of Edinburgh Awards which are valued highly by employers.
The skills and knowledge gained by air cadets are not just sought after by the military services. Civilian employers value the commitment and effort that cadets put into their activities and appreciate the professional leadership training that is provided by the Air Training Corps.
